Lectures on the course "Human Rights" for students of Kazan State Medical University

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Faculty of Social Work of Kazan State Medical University continue cooperation in the framework of the lecture course "Human Rights".

During the lecture course "Human Rights" it is planned to introduce students with the system of human rights, legislation, principles and norms of international law and international treaties, socio-economic human rights, to tell about the mechanism of state protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. During the sessions, the lecturers will share the experience of the Tatarstan Ombudsman, his work in the GIS of the Republic of Tatarstan "Public Control", and also introduce the Human Rights Strategy in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, February 16, 2018, the head of the department for the restoration of the rights of citizens of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan, Artyom Bartenev addressed the students of the Kazan State Medical University with a lecture "The concept and essence of human rights. The system of human rights. National legislation, generally recognized principles and norms of international law and international treaties ".
