The founder of the art of hospital clownery in Russia Konstantin Sedov was awarded the medal "Hasten to do good"

At the request of the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan SariyaSaburskaya the medal of the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation "Hurry up to do good" was awarded to the founder of the art of hospital clowning in Russia, artistic Director of the Autonomous nonprofit organization "Hospital clown" Konstantin Sedov.

The awarding ceremony was held on 7 December in the gallery of arts ZurabTsereteli. Traditionally, the award ceremony dedicated to the celebration of human rights Day. Criteria for assigning awards are dedication, heroism and courage in the face of threats of infringement of the rights and freedoms of the individual.

Hospital clowns - are professional actors, directors and musicians who are engaged in social and psychological rehabilitation of seriously ill children by means of art therapy.

Hospital clownery has been around for more than 30 years, Russia 11 years in the world.

At this stage, "Hospital clowns" working in 6 regions of Russia – Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-don, Oryol and Ryazan.
